The Bible is not inerrant from scientific perspective: my knols and collections to demonstrate limitations — “The issue of biblical authority was crucial to American Protestantism, which had inherited the fundamental doctrine of sola Scriptura (Latin: ‘Scripture alone’) as enunciated by Martin Luther (1483–1546) and other 16th-century Reformers. Thus, any challenge to scriptural integrity had the potential to undermine Christianity as they understood and practiced it. In response to this challenge, theologians at the Princeton Theological Seminary argued for the verbal (word-for-word) inspiration of Scripture and affirmed that the Bible was not only infallible (correct when it spoke on matters of faith and morals) but inerrant (correct when it spoke on any matters, including history and science).” A History of the Warfare of Science with Theology in ChristendomBy Andrew Dickson White (1832-1918) the founding President of Cornell UniversityThe book is available on Archive.org and we have presented his amazing book in different publications:http://www.alislam.org/egazette/articles/Andrew-Dickson-White-200907.pdfhttp://www.alislam.org/egazette/articles/Anthropology-200910.pdfhttp://www.alislam.org/egazette/egazette/october-2009-egazette-jesus-christ-and-atonement/http://www.alislam.org/egazette/egazette/july-2009-egazette/Age of Reason by Thomas Paine in the Islamic light:http://knol.google.com/k/zia-shah/age-of-reason-by-thomas-paine-in-the/1qhnnhcumbuyp/323?collectionId=1qhnnhcumbuyp.217#Allopathic Medicine’s long struggle with the Biblehttp://knol.google.com/k/zia-shah/allopathic-medicine-s-long-struggle/1qhnnhcumbuyp/233?collectionId=1qhnnhcumbuyp.217#Evaluating Original Sin against scientific discoverieshttp://knol.google.com/k/evaluating-original-sin-against-scientific-discoveries?collectionId=1qhnnhcumbuyp.217#The Bible, The Quran and Sciencehttp://knol.google.com/k/the-bible-the-quran-and-science#
