Atheists are right in exposing the irrationality of the Christian dogma.  However, the Christians are right in as far as their claim that there needs to be a Creator of this universe, Who employed natural means to do His work.  However, both parties in their self-conceit are not listening to how Islam resolves their conflict; Islam as understood by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

“Let no man out of weak conceit of sobriety, or an ill-applied moderation, think or maintain, that a man can search too far or be too well-studied in the book of God’s word, or in the book of God’s works; divinity or philosophy; but rather let men endeavor an endless progress or proficiency in both.” Sir Charles Darwin
Intelligent Design (ID) cannot be mentioned in biology classes in Dover, PA public school district, a U.S. District Judge John E. Jones III ruled in 2005, ruling in one of the biggest courtroom clashes on evolution since the 1925 Scopes trial.
The creationists or the Intelligent Design people are pursuing a political agenda, so the truth escapes them. They fail to realize that Intelligent Design thesis cannot be called a branch of science and therefore cannot be taught in science classes but can and should be taught in religion and philosophy classes.

Islam and Science – Religious orthodoxy and battle for rationality
    By Prof. Pervez Amirali Hoodbhoy

This is a book by Pervez Amirali Hoodbhoy with foreword by Dr. Abdus Salam. It is very useful book to demonstrate that the science is universal. Dr Salam wrote in the foreword of the book, “There is only one universal science, its problems and modalities are international and there is no such thing as Islamic science just as there is no Hindu science, no Jewish science, no Confucian science, nor Christian science.”

It is important to make the distinction between religion, science and metaphysics otherwise we stand the grave risk of reigniting warfare of science with theology in Christendom or in the Muslim countries. To read the review of the book by me go to:
