Maulana Naseem Mehdi gave the invocation during the opening of session at the House of Representatives in Harrisburg, Pa., Monday, Dec. 12, 2011. Mehdi is the national vice president of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the oldest Muslim Community in the United States.

    A very well quoted and moving address praising the Almighty. Particularly mentioning the Unity of God was remarkable. Long Live USA at least providing the opportunity to other religious spokes persons to talk openly and freely. Please do convey congratulations to Maulana for this historic event. Also congratulations to Assembly authorities for showing such an accommodate gesture.
